It's okay if this game isn't for you. As for me, I'm going to give it a shot and try to stake my claim. At the very least, I'll play through the story and enjoy the world of Dune. Whether it's PvP, PvE, or PvPvE, I'm not too picky it's all part of the experience. Sure, I'll die and respawn, but I'm no stranger to that after playing Rust for so long. Once I establish myself, I'll be sure to pay it forward.
Dune Awakening will be a blast, as long as you don't mind losing some stuff along the way. I know one real life friend who won't be able to handle it, which just means even more teasing fun for me!
When I have one character that's fully decked out with all the skills, then I'll call myself the winner of this game. Until then, I'll continue to struggle forward and have fun doing it that's what survival is all about. No handholding, no limits, just plain drive, baby! Wooohooo, I'm pumped to dive right into this world.
To embrace the struggle and keep pushing forward is what makes survival games so rewarding. And that sense of accomplishment when you finally reach your goals? Priceless. Leaving all cupcakes and Pop-Tarts behind.
And yes, I'm not a crack shot, nor a glorious, godlike PvPer. But what I lack in skill, I make up for with loads of resilience.
Got to love trolls.
Try not to be overly critical until you experience it yourself. If you solely rely on the point of view of others reviewing products you will never actually find out what you like. If you value their review more than your own opinion then you are a sheep in life.
Remember kids, experience is the nectar of life. If you constantly live 2nd hand you'll never experience actual living.
