Number of Characters

Does anyone know how many characters I can create? Can I have one character that is a planetologist when I feel like exploring and harvesting and a different character when I feel like hunting or combat? Or am I limited to a single character that will adapt to every situation?

One character per world. Your character is going to become a jack of all.

I do wish we could load up characters we made in the creator and tweak them... kinda weird they didn't have that option.

So, to have two radically different characters, say, for roleplaying purposes (Atreides vs Harkonnen aligned, or a neutral mercenary), the players will have to get a second account?

you will be able to unlock all classes by finding NPC trainers in the world, and then you can build your class as you see fit.

Yes, but some of us would prefer to have more characters for immersion purposes.

yeah i get it, i did RP in conan exiles for some time and the best mod ever was one that let you make multiple characters on one server. i sympathize with y'all but i also understand why they wont let people do so.
