Well that's the braindead quote of the day. Thanks for playing.
Dune as befits a 1960's story is much more about drugs.
Tell me you haven't read the books without telling me you haven't read the books.
Spoiler alert :
Dune is a warning AGAINST charismatic leaders (like Paul).
Seems to be you've lost interest in a number of things all because of your expectations vs reality. Some recent SW shows are weak but others are pretty good, guess it depends on what you like or watch. As for this Dune MMO you've already whined about it and said it's terrible so...are you going to play it anyway, is that why you linger and keep crapping on it? If it's not your cup of tea then why do you keep sipping? So weird.
I've read Dune many times and most of the rest once.
Paul's hero's journey that of a "white savior" even if the ultimate message is about how that was bad for most of the planets on the receiving end of the jihad.
This is similar to Das Boot being a great war book/movie and arguably the greatest anti-war book/movie.
Dune is a Warner Bros.
Star Wars is Disney.
That's all that needs to be said.
