Is it only locked 3rd person camera view?
Skimming the videos, and screenshots, it gives the impression that there is no true first person view? That accurate?

Yes seems so. Might be part of console release / patch later... But possibly not due to Dune Awakening being listed as an mmo and not an fps... But Conan Exiles has the FPS camera but no fps store tag... So it's probably part of a pending console photo mode integration... Maybe.

As you can see from the videos, using binoculars and some of the shooting is done in first person view. But I bet this only applies to sniper rifle type weapons.

don't think they like FPV
it was dropped from Conan during EA too
