Respawning in dune awakening

I know you can respawn at different points, but how do you respawn, is it because you get cloned, etc, because they need to explain how you get brought back if you die outright like a sandworm etc, is it meant to be a clone vat and you get transported back to where you were??

Well, the Dune lore does have the clone thing in it, so that is probably what happens.
