you dont need to pvp for spice and pvp is not forced.
you can buy it or farm it in pve zones
PVP IS NOT FORCED, spice is not only in the deep desert but in a minor quantity in the pve zones, not only that, you CAN BUY SPICE AT THE EXCHANGE WHERE PLAYERS WILL BE SELLING ALL KIND OF THINGS.
you DONT need to go to the pvp area for getting Spice.

Exactly the spice is in "minor quantity" which means it won't be enough.
also like i said a bazillion times you dont need to farm spice to get spice, you can craft things, find items, fight AI, do quests, sell what youve got, and BUY IT.
Again makes no sense, if it's enough nobody is going to the deep desert, they'll stick with whats easy. And we haven't seen the market, if its' easier to find stuff in the PvE zone and sell it for spice, then again nobody is going to go to the deep desert and fight zergs.
That means the very core of their game will be ignored by the player base.
Never going to happen lol
There is a big difference in amounts required for single players and guilds. So yeah, guilds will most likely farm the large quantity blooms while single player will get some scraps from elsewhere if they wish to do so.
Additionally we have the information, that the pve zones will likely be "sharded" with a playerlimit of one or a few hundred players, so there wont be quite as much competition as in the deep desert.
