Just be honest and admit you pissed it is taking long to come out.
Collective budget = 355 million
Collective box office = 1.1 billion
Yes it isn't Disney or LOTR, but Dune has never been as popular as it is now, might even say that if we look past the money, Dune is in better standing with people than modern LOTR (Rings Of Power), Star Wars or current marvel movies other than Deadpool and Wolverine :)
Sure if you ignore the thousands of angry reviews with legitimate reasons for hating what they've done to Dune. The main group of people who support it are the progressives because they love it when tiny females throw big men around. Doesn't matter that is makes zero sense, it appeases them lol
That's what amounts to art for the progressives, just swap out the men for women and make lots of statements about how men screw everything up. Then swap out all the white folks and it's an instant hit with progressives lol
And yeah I agree that Star Wars and Marvel aren't the smash hits they used to be but Marvel movies would break the 1 Billion mark regularly ( on a 100-200 mio budget) and so would every Disney Star Wars movie except for Han Solo. Btw Han Solo is the only SW movie that lost money. Box office was 392 mio while the budget was 275 mio. Just as an example of how box office and budget can't be compared 1:1.
And this is exactly why most gamers, including PvP types like me, will avoid this disaster.
Already we're seeing the hyper toxic posts from PvP types who can't wait to ruin someones day with exploits\cheats\base camping and all around bad behavior.
I suggest you do some research on the game before making a counter argument. There is no PvP force in the game. There is only PvP in certain areas. Those who want to can PvP, those who don't can't. There is also no base raid. There is only base raid at the end of the game, which is not the main base but the border base.
Also, if you don't want to play the game, don't play. There are plenty of people who will play the game and take your place. You're not special.
I've been following since day one and the entire end game is PvP.
Unless the player wants to play just 10% of the game for the money spent, they won't have to PvP, but if they have any interest in end game content they will HAVE to PvP.
And yes there are base raids, you need spice to protect it from raids and its on a timer. The only place to get spice is in the deep desert where the PvP is ...lol
Basically nothing you said it true because all of it requires PvP. All these lies are meant to entice PvE players as fodder for the exploiters and cheaters. The worst kind of PvPers...
- MMO instead of Online dedicated servers with mods
- People already hate funcom because of what they did to Conan
- No one trusts these turds
- No private coop = no buy for like 50% of the people checking the game instantly.
The other 50% will drop out fast for the other reasons. This was a complete waste of time making.
They must have hired the devs from Skull & Bones
Companies fire, layoff, and hire new talent all the time this can easily change how a game could have been.
Tencent is one of those Hit or miss companies when it comes to their games. The new Delta Force game is being made by companies owned by Tencent. It will be free to play with their campaign being a paid thing. I personally don't care if they monetize the hell out of this game because it's a first person shooting game and skins don't matter in the end.
Since it is an FPS you can't even see your operator skin.
Vessel of Hatred Trailer got less than 200k view on YouTube, its coming down.
I really think its time for NFT/Crypto. They dont have to do it launch but when most of have left. Slowly add NFTs, like 1k per month etc, as NFT increase, so does the playerbase.
