Unless something changed this should be like Conan Exiles. That means that you can create your own servers where you can play single player or with friends only.

Harder to sell skins and costumes in single player. Cant wait to see people in bunny suits and waifu costumes running around Arrakis killing pink and blue worms while flying Ornithopters that look like pumpkins with cat ears.

If it's like Conan Exiles, it'll have single player and PvE only options.
They know how bad the pvp is on Conan Exiles. I doubt they'll make this open world pvp only.

The teabagging comes when they work out you are a water fat offworlder or a Harkonnen XD. Then they call you 'little melon' and flatline you for your water.
(The little melon at the deserts edge, gives its water to any who find it)
