Until that's resolved, I won't be playing.
A game that can and does remove agency from the player at random is not a game.
You have the ability to crash and lose everything because of that merger message, which means that your time has been wasted.
If there's even a 1% chance that my progress can get undone because of something the GAME is designed to do, without any input from myself, it's built to work against the players.
That goes against everything the last 20 years of Game Devs were taught.
I know you guys really really want money (and want A TON of money for something like a full ship set of cosmetics, it gets ridiculous how expensive your cosmetics are in comparison to other games), and that's kind of the biggest thing that turns me off from playing regularly.
That and the LOW fov on PC when I'm using my 21:9 Ultrawide monitor. Even at 90 fov it feels way too narrow most of the time. You can fix the FOV editing a .cfg file or w/e but then all the ui elements disappear for some reason which is annoying.
