even tho it wasn't me who found out about the PVE tag ( but i checked it to prove it for him) im glad the person did it so i could spread the word and add further details to it
PvPers don't want to kill each other, too much work. A PvEer is much easier to kill and better chances of winning.
Woke up this morning wanting to play Sea of Thieves, but decided I don't want to deal with xX360 nOsCoPeXx and his crewmate _ButtTuccer_ today, getting real tired of being chased relentlessly across the map for little to no loot and insulted at and told "ur bad". These people just want to kill others because that's "fun". Fun is subjective, I don't like being killed over and over its not fun
So you think the game is "challenging" because there is a few other players/ships in the servers. It's not that i can assure you, most of the players i've ever ran into in this game even when i'm out numbered get out played.
