I am trying to launch the game but it just says "The sea of thieves services are temporarily unavailable. Please try again. (lavenderbeard)"

Mine won't even launch. My brothers and I were trying to play last night and only my one brother could get it working. I've uninstalled and reinstalled mine and it's still not going. I can play any of my other Steam games just fine, it's only SoT. And it's so strange too because I just played it only two or three days ago.

Try logging out then log back in when you launch the game, i did that now its working

Logging out and back in usually does the trick for me.

Same here I launch the game, it says the game is running on steam but nothing happens. I emptied the cash, checked integrity, uninstalled, still not working.

Same here, 3 of my friends are playing and I just can't join them, the game won't load...

Same error here as well, since yesterday. Fresh install, verified files, nothing fixes this.

Found a fix that worked for me just now.

If you’re having issues with Lavenderbeard on Steam, you can try clearing your Xbox Live credentials.

Open the Windows menu in the bottom left of your screen.
Type ‘Credential Manager‘.
Once viewing the Credentials Manager, click the ‘Windows Credentials’ button.
Find any Entries labeled ‘Xbl_Ticket‘.
Remove any with ‘1717113201’ in the name.
Try and boot up Sea of Thieves.
