error launching game

Trying to launch the game on my PC since this morning's update. I get and error that says "error occurred while launching this game: app running". I have tried updating and restarting my computer, logging out and back in to steam, checked integrity of files, uninstalled and reinstalled the game. Nothing has worked so far. How else can I troubleshoot this issue???

it`s DX 12 problem, update video drivers, validate integrity of the game, it will launch, in video settings change to DX 11, enjoy...

Give it a while. DirectX 12 builds a shader cache the first time you run the game. At first, the window will seem like it doesn't appear (aka the game will appear not to launch), but it eventually should after a while.

Well, my video drivers are up to date. Checked the integrity of the game multiple times. No idea how I'm supposed to change the video settings if I can't run the game.
