What emissary should I run for the raid on a dark fortress voyage?

Gold hoarder? Order of Souls? Is there Athena loot? I feel the temptation to try Reaper, but obviously that's even more risky.

Guild Emissary will get you the 2nd most since it's a mixture of loot types. Reaper is the most, but you'll get hunted down a little faster

What if I don't have the guild emissary flag yet?

It depends on the activity you want to do, if you enjoy killing skeletons orders of souls, if you like playing indiana jhones play gold hoarder if you like sailing around and dealing with sirens and sharks and random skellies merchants.

Do any of that while you using a guilded ship and you will eventually unlock the guild emissary.

The rest of the loot types are distributed pretty evenly. If you don't go Reaper, then any faction that you prefer is fine as the rewards will be mostly equal to the others.

Assuming you don’t have the guild emissary unlocked, either Reaper (but you will have a bullseye on your back) or gold hoarder. I noticed a lot of chests of ancient tributes spawned today. We ran one as reaper and one as gold hoarder and got the exact same loot each time. I wanted to do Athena and hope that the loot will change accordingly but I don’t think it does.
