missing files, anti cheat missing

verified games integrity 3 times, and now suddenly easy anti-cheat isnt being found. what the hell is going on. reinstalled after a little bit, windows 10

oof. bad look on their part.

You have to re-install their anit cheat software to get it working in the first place? But their cheat detection def works #reliable

the same problem but... I DON'T HAVE THE EasyAntiCheat_EOS_Setup.exe I DON"T HAVE ANY EXE in the EasyAntiCheat folder... that's my problem. I installed the game, I start the game - ERROR, I Verify files integrity... I RE-INSTAL THE GAME... NOTHING.

gotta love how YOU have to fix the games problems, instead of the development team whos making the game, and that you gave your money to so you can play the game and will more than likely (maybe) put more money into for the micro transactions to insentivise them to continue putting content into the game

You can acquire the EAC setup directly from Epic, clean and signed.

I tried this and it didn't work. Easy Cheat lets me install it for "Game 12", and it does install, but Sea of Thieves still says it isn't installed.

it is impossible to log into the game because of an error, how to fix it

I couldn't start the game because of this error, which I just didn't try didn't help and accidentally found a solution.

Create in a folder along the path Your Disk:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Sea of Thieves\Installers

or if the game was installed not in the steam folder but on another disk Your Disk:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Sea of Thieves\Installers

a text document and write in it: EasyAntiCheat_EOS_Setup.exe install a4a57ff548934dbeba0cc7c62cdf9f34 save it under the name Setup and change the extension to bat

then immediately run this bat file here in the folder once, and now the EasyCheat error is not installed, it will disappear and you can play the game

By the way, this solution is also suitable for other online games
