Kicked for anticheat violation. WHAT???

I was just kicked from the session for anticheat violation. WHY??? HOW??? I never used a cheat in any MMO game in my life! I am no programmer, nor i desire any forbidden advantage in online games! This is not fair! How this anticheat system even target me? What for??? Should i expect this often, even during tell tale, when it's absolutely crucial to stay in till the end?

Nah, i don't have that. But i have program to change color of keyboard illumination. ROCCAT Swarm.

It's sounding like false positives are quite common since EAC got added. Even before they added it, I'm fairly sure they had some sort of anti-cheat thing there because a year or two ago I recall being yellowbearded in the middle of a session. Got in touch with support and 20 minutes later they'd identified it was a technical hitch, reversed the temp ban and apologised for the inconvenience. Can't get much fairer than that.

Did you get a temp ban after you were kicked or were you able to just jump back in with no problems? If the former then I'd contact support.

Only kicked out of session, with the option to hop right back, without losing anything.

I don't believe the files were corrupted, i just installed the game anew, 3 days back. But if this happens again i will do that. Thanks.

In theory, yes.
Easy Anti-Cheat was added a couple of months back, though for the most part it's providing more problems than solutions

More problems than solutions and let's be real. There is no 100% anti cheat program on the world as private programmers are always better in work to create cheat scripts than unmotivated employee programmers who projects anti-cheat programs. So cheaters/hackers will always be one step ahead.

Don't worry nothing going to happen to you if you are not using cheats.
maybe your sound app or lighting app or peripherals app etc, there are something running in the background and messing with your other games.

Haven't played in 2 days, I get on now and instantly kicked after connecting to servers with EAC internal violations? Like you good Microsoft?

if its a false positive just send an Email over to RARE support, they can most likley pull the logs to see what triggered it and just unban you.
