Ashbeard is unfixable

The Ashbeard error saying that you need to be connected to the Xbox Network to play the game is actually unfixable. We have tried reinstalling the game, reinstalling the Xbox app, Microsoft Store, Xbox Game Services, repaired Xbox Game services, used Powershell to uninstall and reinstall various programs, reinstalling the game bar, verifying game files, etc etc. FOR HOURS, and nothing worked.
At what point do either the devs respond to this error being unfixable for many people who get it, or they issue refunds to the people who want to play the game but are unable to because Xbox is incapable of maintaining and integrating their processes into their own games? IF YOU CAN'T HELP PEOPLE FIX ASHBEARD, REFUND THEM. Simple as, and no I personally do not have an issue with the Ashbeard error, but my friend who did get it is unable to even play the game cause that error doesn't even let him sign in at all. REFUND!

And if you're a steam player do not buy this game until they get their errors fixed.
