Push To Talk No Longer Working

I haven't played for several months. I returned last night. When I press the Push To Talk key the speech bubble icon no longer appears in the top right corner. I have tried remapping the key but no luck. I haven't met anyone else in game yet to actually see if they can hear me and confirm it's just a graphical bug. Has anyone else experience this?

Check in windows gamebar to make sure the correct device is being used by Microsoft games.

Ok so Gamebar settings were ok. However I did find a solution that seems to have fixed it for now. I guess a Windows update screwed it up.

Configure the individual Microphone input for Sea of Thieves

Boot Sea of Thieves.
Minimise Sea of Thieves.
From the system tray in the bottom right corner of Windows, right click the Speaker Icon and select Open Sound Settings.
Scroll down to the Advanced Sound Options and select App Volume and Device Preferences.
As Sea of Thieves is open, it will show in the displayed list. From here you can specify the output and input.

If you use Steelseries GG app try uninstalling it, I ran into this problem beginning of season 13, uninstalling Steelseries GG fixed it for me and some others too.

I had the same problem - SOLUTION - I switched the keybind from the left alt to the right alt and now it works. Same worked for my friend. Odd
