I keep forgetting this. Haven't actually used this feature like this yet.
Lots of reasons. Looking for a less or more populated server, looking for a server with better drop rates of different things (debated if this is real or not), tired of getting chased, server is laggy, looking for certain events to be active, etc etc
I can confirm that all shrine treasures from Server A can be retrieved in Server B via the merfolk, EXCEPT Breath of the Sea.
I just did a treasury when I had an active coral message in Server A. I stored the breath of the sea in a chest, and stored this chest in the mermaid statue. When I retrieved my treasures, the breath of the sea disappeared. The chest which previously contained the breath of the sea now had an empty slot.
There's a bug where it deletes the breath
