Video driver crashing

Whenever I try to open the game, while it is building shaders it crashes and says that my video driver crashed and was reset, what can I do to fix it

and just to clarify more I have heard about solutions to change the launch properties to something like:
-d3d11
or
-dx11
but when I put those in it gives me an error saying that I must be running windows 10 in-order to play

i had a similar issue where i could play the game but after a while of playing it would just crash with the same error message you got, my solution was to download a better video driver so try that
