both are dead
Skull and bones had more fun - casual- ship fighting and more fun weapons to use with it
sadly every thing else was not very fun
Skull and Bones plays like a mobile game
Skull and Bones is the first AAAA game and also prioritizes 'safe and fair' gameplay in a PIRATE GAME.
Both games play completely different [yes I've played both] & their worlds are based on different mythos & not even neighboring storylines. So, really not sure why there are constant comparisons of any sort unless there's a question of mental disorder involved as the only thing they have in common is a pirate theme--if barely even that. I mean if you're looking for better pirate-themed comparisons you could throw Blackwake, the Monkey Island series, Rogue Galaxy, Sid Meier's Pirates or even portions of AC4: Black Flag in there. I'm sure there are others that are in the pirate-themed neighborhood (Lego for example) but they weren't specifically created as standalone pirate-themed games since they were made to promote a franchise. There are numerous others that were flops throughout the years but I only mentioned the ones that were released on Steam or had a devoted following and or set a notable record of some sort (to my knowledge at least otherwise researching could take hours/days ugh).
