they could make so much money putting the pvp curses behind a paywall as an alternative for a dead, broken gamemode but nope

the two types of paywalls in SoT are sweaty pvp fights for 300 hours of playtime for cosmetics or a months salary for a colourful ship

Bro where in the world do you make 20 dollars in a month that would consider buying cosmetics? I have friends in Venezuela that make money playing wow and osrs, why would they ever be over here, and spending money if they are that poor???

I have been the "3rd party" a few times.

I usually ally with the HG defense player - just for fun.

If they make me an enemy, then I would ally with their HG opponent.

What made you think PVP solo was a good idea

Many players play solo because they don't have friends who play and they don't want to play with strangers/weirdos from open crews.

On top of that, playing solo will often help you get much better at the game than if you rely on a crew.

Yes, but there's a difference between doing voyages and tall tales vs straight up rushing into a 1v3 scenario.

The OP is talking about Hourglass which has nothing to do with either of those. He's talking about solo vs solo Hourglass and other ships interrupting the fights.

Which we've already established is annoying, but doesn't happen often.

It was confusingly worded. Also I've never done an hourglass fight solo because I didn't know that it would actually account for the number of players
