Storms are a <insert dergatory word of your choice here>
Seriously, PvP Wouldn't be so bad, if you didn't CONSTANTLY respawn in a storm, either it's my bad luck or my bad timing, but everytime I login lately it's in stormy seas, and I spend a good 30 minutes to an hour getting out of the storm. And if I manage to outrun the storm some PvP'r gets trigger happy and targets my EMPTY boat, sending me back into the storm...it's not fun, and not ideal when PvP is littered with spawn campers who have nothing better to do than attack solo players when they are stopped at an island waiting out a storm, then proceed to spawn camp them until they scuttle.

How is it taking you 30 minutes to leave the storm

I mean, last time I travelled off the map racing to get ahead of it :/

Did it never occur to you to go in the opposite direction instead

I mean, that would've taken me deeper into the storm; not very smart when your trying to avoid it....

And ultimately you would have ended up going in opposite direction to the storm's trajectory and left it much quicker xd

At least you know for the future... right

I suppose, I just wish I didn't spawn into the things...it's kinda annoying to spawn at a port where they're ongoing lol

Use the weather forecast, so u'd know which direction to sail to get out of the storm.

Just sail in a straight line, any direction...

Storms tend to blow in the direction of the wind, and the anvil shape of the cloud is basically telling you in which direction it's going.

Some good fishing in storms.
