"We are aware that some players on Steam Deck are encountering Cyanbeard errors. The team are investigating and we will provide an update as soon as we can. Thank you for your patience."
chill. i play this game since 2k hours. they messed up anticheat or something for ps5 release. they will fix this eventually.
If you decide to chill then that's a decision you made, I'm OK with that because I understand everyone is different and we all have different goals.
My goal however was to buy this game so I could play with some of my old PlayStation friends this weekend. That goal however has been stopped by incompetence. I feel I have every right not to "Chill'.
Thanks for posting that, just wish they was more clear on a estimated time for fix
I asked for a refund got told no, I sent a support ticket asking if they had no intention of refunding then could they at least fix the problem.
After 3 days in chat with steam support this is the last response I got...
"Thank you for the reply and your report.
We will make sure this information makes it to the team so we can help correct the issue or reevaluate the rating for this title if necessary.
In the meantime, you may want to check around the community to see if other players have found another solution or workaround.
If you have any further questions, please let us know - we will be happy to assist you.
Steam Support"
I did not name the support worker as I know that's just the script they was given and I see no reason to name and shame. But in short they are doing nothing!
No point reaching out to Rare as it's a UK company and in the UK its a bank holiday weekend (most people get a long weekend and they don't return to work until Tuesday).
Tbh I don't think any developers would of been working on the Steam Deck issues during a national bank holiday. We would be lucky for a fix in tomorrows scheduled maintenance but in all reality I don't think they will even start work fixing this bug until after the patch they already scheduled.
