Microphone ingame does not work please help

Microphone haven't worked ingame and i also can't hear team mates, but i can hear people who are in enemy crew's speak on microphone.

put both options on "speakers" worked for me.

Yeah im having the same exact issue all my other games on steam do not do this. like man i didnt pay 60 bucks just so i can play mic simulator. im gonna try the speakers thing but i doubt it will work

Yeah nothing works the game is bugged asf.

There are fixes at yt, MS games takes you mic by default, if you use something other than default, you need to change that device to default.
Just try disable your other devices and activate them again, there are lots of fixes at yt.

There is something in windows to enable app to use mic, you need to manually active it if you dont have it.

Like when i use voice meeter i will put output default into windows, after that you can go into gamebar and change your mic there its win + g.

Just play it with and something will work, but you need to try it.

The main issue people have is that MS games use an additional microphone selector option which is hidden in the Windows gamebar (Windows+G).

Make sure that your mic is also selected there.

I had to disconnect my controller (if you are using controller with microphone) to get it to work since game recognized controller mic as primary. Problem was also in Helldivers 2. After disconnecting controller it worked like a charm.

I was about to buy and download this beings it seems pretty fluid, healthy and on sale for $20. Then I came to the forums to do a once over. Nothing but bugs, toxic players and the new(er) DLC is Johnny Depps Illuminati-mason-zionist quest to Epstein island to locate the golden chest of child sex slaves.
SOOOO for me that's a pass. Clearly they had enough BIG CORPORATE BUCKS to fix the issues but didn't and wont because they are greed fueled unqualified corporate non-gamers in-charge of maintaining your game with their "ultra qualified" $15/hr import Punjabi coders. NEEEEEEEEEEEXT!

Thank you so much, i went to sounds and found out that my mic wasnt set as the default for some reason and now it works.
