Shadowplay doesn't like Sea of Thieves

I have been using shadowplay to record gameplay, but however as of recently it's been glitching out.

When I start the game with Fullscreen shadowplay overlay flickers till the point it stops working. I have pin pointed the problem being that it works in windowed mode, but only if desktop capture is turned on.

I am not sure if this problem is because of nvidia or sea of thieves itself, but I have tried other games and Sea of Thieves as of now is the only one having this issue.

Before anyone comments, Shadowplay is bad or use OBS or any other piece of recording software. Just note that this is to figure out the problem not to just forget it and move on.

you updated Drivers recently? if so try older Drivers see if that makes a difference

I use shadowplay with no problems, but sometimes it feels like going pepega... You need to update the whole nvidia things including gforce experience.

well it has come out recently that Nvidia drivers are running havoc with shadowplay and multi-monitor setups

I have done all the above, even did a full wipe of nividia stuff. Only game it clashes with is SOT for some reason.

It's updated, actually tried nividia App instead of experience works a bit better but same issue.

At first i was using windows 10 when I encountered the problem I swapped to win 11 and it was fine for a bit, then boom same problem.

I thought it was a Nividia Problem, but then why does it work in other games and not SOT. Something must mess with the shadowplay overlay I am assuming. If some people are using shadowplay with SOT I imagine the problem has been personalized for something in my setup.

Not a bad idea I did think of this, I was just too lazy to dig up old drivers.. Pretty sure It's been two updates since the problem originated.

I'm not out of space, and I don't have streaming services or anything that would disable it. Like I said other games I have tried have worked. RIght now a single monitor I had two before and had no issue then. Feels like a Nvidia update or a SOT update changed something.

Sometimes i have this random issue that for some reason it throws an error and it pauses the recording like 2 seconds later, it's like nvidia is made to self destruct unless you update it every a few days.
