Is sea of thieves have a dying player base still or has it finally change

they broke the game.... a lot of us have big crashes that prevent us from playing, I unistalled the game because i was sooo tired that they didn't solve anything ( despite complaints on discord / tickets on the site )

PS5 players were added to the foray recently, so there's actually a surge in new players!

It didn't have a dying playerbase and it still doesn't now.

um hard to say. as someone mentioned there's a surge in players with ps5 release, but the concurrent players often dips to around 5-6k on steam which isn't great but also not terrible. the game could be a big deal but it's very niche with full loot pvp/harassment that's encouraged and condoned by rare. i mean, the game is built around it so...it will likely always be a very niche game. sadly.

I returned to game after one year. What I noticed is a great number of cheaters. But the game is still fun, they added some new stuff. But CPU usage is now higher than before (with CPU spikes in some places). Also game size is 140GB, need to be compressed for sure.

They should put PVP on/off flag, so you could do pve stuff without beeing attacked from greedy cheating punks. That's what this game is missing.

For me it was enough that i had to install over 100GB just to find out how cheaters owns the sea. I will never install 100GB for this kinda graphic again. Not after I've seen Cyberpunk graphic at 80GB of installation :)

that flag would be easily exploited. describe the 'cheating'
