Textures not loading?
I'm dealing with a weird issue where textures aren't loading in right away and it takes quite a long time for some reason. Any one else experiencing this? I've tried uninstalling and re-installing, but this doesn't change anything.

Last update made it really weird, sometimes when i get to an outpost or reaper's i just can't recognize the place it's like it shows some extra super low quality model that looks like a psx game then slowly returns to the normal shape.

It's like the entire city is made of poop all brown and weird shapes like balls and sticks everywhere. It's literally like galactus took a crap on the outpost before i arrived and it slowly regenerates like the robot from terminator 2.

Just wondering if you've tried updating your graphics drivers to the most recent available? I was having a similar issue with a different game and once I updated the issue resolved. If that doesn't solve anything then I would suggest sending a support ticket to let them know about it (if they're not aware already) as it may be related to something on their end.

Had something weird happen last night while out with the crew.

The captains table disappeared, but just for me. They could still see it. I could still see the hg and the logbook floating there. But no table, couldn’t interact with it either .

I thought I was the only one with the problem, but no, it is the same with me models are not rendered correctly and in places the graphics are somehow very low

I submitted a ticket to Rare. Sounds like they aren't aware of the issue.

This emergency patch killed it for me, i don't even know where im anymore most times it loads a pile of crap instead of an island.
After about 10 minutes i get massive stuttering when i only had that when playing for about 3 hours nonstop whith a stream on the background.

Sea of Thieves is now optimised for Direct3D 12. On most PCs the game will run with the default Direct3D 12, but older hardware may not fully support it and should automatically run with Direct3D 11 instead. If you find you need to manually switch to Direct3D 11, there are three options described below:

In-game, go to the settings menu and select the video settings. After changing the Direct3D version you will need to restart the game. This menu also includes an option called Multi-Core Rendering. If this is turned on then the game should run better on computers with a large number of processors. If you are having trouble run the game then try turning it off.
If your hardware does not fully support Direct3D 12 then these options may not be available.
If the game crashes when it is launched then you should try one of the other methods of changing the Direct3D version.

If you are running the game using Steam, right-click Sea of Thieves in the game list and select Properties. Type -d3d11 in the Launch Options box from the General section.

Modify the ini file. In a text editor open the file corresponding to your version of the game.
Windows Store: %LOCALAPPDATA%\Athena\Saved\Config\WinGDK\GameUserSettings.ini
Steam: %LOCALAPPDATA%\Athena\Saved\Config\WindowsClient\GameUserSettings.ini
Find this line:
D3DVersion=12
and change it to:
D3DVersion=11
