Boosted Athenas Fortune Levels since the Season 11 update??

I'm just wondering about the boosted Athenas reputation level since the update, I was level 21 Athenas, now I am suddenly level 27!? Is this a gift from Rare to help Athenas players or is it a glitch in the game and still needs fixing? Also another thing and spoiler alert for anyone that is not a Pirate Legend that will be reading this...

I went into the Pirate Legend hideout and seeing I am above the level of some of the cosmetics you can buy, it still says they are locked. Am I missing something, this surely must be a mistake. I do not know what to think of this, I do like my new level lol but Rare, what is going on here?? Please put me to rest with answers. Is it like this for all the other trading companies as well?

All trading companies have been raised to 100 (reapers included). They also removed Athena's voyages like Thieves Haven and the Black Powder one (commendations previously linked to any removed voyages have been altered). Also when you reach 100 you automatically prestige the company and start back at 1 (unlocking some bling) you can do this 5 times.

The old Athena gear unlock requirements probably changed to a higher level or a completely new commendation linked to the prestige system.

It kinda got me upset how I worked really hard to get to level 30 athena only to stay there, and they make it easier for other players to level up athena now...

Exactly
I remember how tedious it was to get level 30. An entire Athena session (with Veil + emissary quests + Athena keg and chest at the end) only gave like a quarter of a level when you were close to 30, it was crazy.
Now people will just fly through these levels like it's nothing.

They increased the level cap for Athena to 100 from 30 to make it level with other companies, and supposedly adjusted rep requirements accordingly, but it doesn't seem like much of an increase.

good now make it easy to get the curses on hg as in other ways in other pvp ways
