Will safer seas ever be less punishing to play?

I get you want people to play pvp, but there are those of that can't like myself.
Im autistic and deal with seviere anxiety and other medical stuff, why does it have to be so restricting when i bought the game and just to have fun and enjoy a cool pirate game. I just dont understand why you have to be so extreme with reducing gold and experiences and features we share because we cant play pvp. what we do playing dont affect any pvp players so why do i feel like im being forced to play it.

I understand i cant have because its big player thingg like

• Guilds
  
• World Raids, i think its called.

because it's just me and a couple friends.
But I cant

• My own ship
  
• Buy deccorations
  
• sell treasure and gold the same. i fought my way to it, and took the time to take it to my ship, and be attacked by skeletons and shark bruice the same.

but you left all micro transactions in there for me to buy and not be able to use?
i bough quite a few, and bought, but why bother when i cant use them.
sorry if i dont understand, but uoy got the money from our purchases, and the stats for us being active playing it, i know you all at rare worked really hard on this game but its still sales and active players. sorry if its conffusing to read, i have a hard time explaining what im thinking :/

Let me ask the OP something here. Have you actually tried high seas? or are you going solely off of what others say when it comes to the PvP? Because I can assure you if you haven't tried it, it's not nearly as bad as people are making it out to be.

i have tied it when i first got it. it was ok for maybe 5 minutes, i had a banana out i kept geting killed before i got on my ship, and one other player could sink me with one shot or his gun i dont know how he did it. i or he could jump to my ship i could not do anything, thats not fun it is mental stress. i could not even do one mission i got anxiety just going out of the inn, it got so bad i could not breath and passing out ended up in the hopital.

this was a sime time ago and i refunded it, but i got it again because it said pve mode.

No it's not going to change and it shouldnt change. I'm sorry you cant deal with the PvP aspect but at the end of the day you bought a PvPvE game knowing all too well it was PvPvE. The dev's are not going to change the fundamentals of the game for a minority (PvE'ers) of the overall community.

i bought it because it was avertised a pve. i cant do pvp because of issues. i dont expect you to understand or care. it dont affect you in any way how i play so why care? have a nice day :)

actually you can play pvp. you're just limiting yourself. .

no i cant, even being attacked causes issues. it was from being a child and having an abusive step dad. i just want to play a pirate game and have fun with friends. be be affraid or people with a thousand hours or being abusive.

I was expecting some buffs to Safer Seas with Season 11. Oh well, guess I'll be shelving again until Season 12 to see if they have fixed their game yet.

It was made for many reasons, not just for new players. Stop gatekeeping and telling people how they are allowed to play the game.

I honestly believe the Devs only made Safer Seas so when ppl point out the rampant cheating and toxic players the Devs can just point to Safer Seas and go "play that" while also making it so absolutely Cr@ppy that nobody will ever wanna play it, your choice is either play something that $uck$ or have ppl with a mic spam the N word and the other F word every two seconds.

you tend to forget it isent only one person, there are numerous posts about the not having a pve server. the devs gave us some b.s about the decreased loot and learning the curve while in reality it was money lenders that gave them money if they created a pve mode but the devs didnt want it, so they took the money, punished everyone playing it by not letting them feal at home (owning a ship) they said that there never whought be a pve server, but in a way there is, now, tho safer seas isent really a pve server its a single player with a co-op featur. dews just make a damn pve server and end this toxic war allready.

You're still just proving my point. You bought a PvPvE game knowing it was PvPvE and now complaining because it's PvPvE. Sounds like you jumped the gun on buying it again and are sad because it's still not what you had hoped. Sounds like SoT is not the game for you.

Nowhere on the steam page does it say anything about a PvE mode or the game being PvE, which leads me to believe you just took what other people said instead of looking into it yourself. The devs were very clear on what safer seas was going to include well before it was even in the game and also for who and what it was going to be meant for.
