PS5 Dualsense controller not working

Having trouble to get my Dualsense controller to work. The controller is hardwired and I have tried everything from enable steam input and the playstation overall inputs. I have also tried booting the game from the EA app and still the game will not recognize the controller.

Any help please as I really want to give this gem a try.

For me, enabling Steam Input and turning off PlayStation inputs (from Steam settings) worked fine while hardwired. Tested again just now to make sure. Not sure what could be causing your problem.

They only work connected with a cable to the Pc. Any other way I tried, it didn't want to work at all.

I was wired still no fix.

Had to download DS4 to get it to work. Really hope Survivor isn't like this.

add EA "app recovery" as a non-steam game. still shows xbox icons, but works perfectly otherwise.
