internet question/booting up game

my internet is going off for a couple of weeks (house work),these 2 games starwars fallen order/survivor is on sale and i wanna buy,lets say i buy them now and get all the EA apps etc etc and activate games,my question is,do i need the internet to start up the game (for authentication for the 1st time)? or will the game start up fine without internet (for authentication?)
