Is my saved game saved in the cloud?

Im about to clean install windows11. I want to confirm if my saved game is backed up in the cloud. Ive been checking the settings and I dont see anything related to cloud saving,

Pretty sure not. You can, however, simply copy over your save. In the taskbar's search box, type "%USERPROFILE%\Saved Games\Respawn\JediFallenOrder\" (sans quotes) and it will take you to the appropriate folder.

I've been trying to delete all my saves. Deleting all the files in the above folder save for settings doesn't do the trick. If they're not in the cloud, they're backed up somewhere else.

I just found this out the hard way, had my laptop stolen and just installed on my new one and wanted to pick up where I left off...didn't have a backup saved so guess I'm starting over...bleh. I did use an online gamesave website, maybe they grabbed a copy I'm not aware of since it was an automated save feature...sure wish Steam would mandate and/or provide cloud saves for all their games...it really pisses me off sometimes. I have over 1000 games between Steam, GoG and Origin and don't always keep my saved games updated so having an online backup is nice, would help if Steam helped with this problem.
