Dual Sense Controller support is just false advertising
Steam very clearly states support for the dual sense controller.
I have already gained around 30 minutes of "play time" by starting the game to check if my controller works or not.

I use a dual sense controller connected via USB.
It works in every single other game (F1 24, EA FC 24 etc.) but not the one game that explicitly states it has support for it.

Are there any settings I might have missed to change?
Or is it just highly illegal false advertising?

No, I am not. As that would essentially defeat the purpose of supporting a controller.
It doesn't really support a controller if you have to emulate it to a different one

Right click steam, go to settings, controller and scroll down to "Playstation Controller Support". Change it to "Enabled" and your controller should turn blue and you will be able to use it. Also do this outside of the game. And if it doesn't work try opening the game through Big Picture Mode as that should work as well. :toughertimes:

Having same problem here, literally bought this game to test out my new dualsense and it only works if I use steam input to pretend it's an xbox controller, which is pointless and is NOT dualsense support. The game allegedly supports the adaptive triggers and haptics but I can't see how if I have to emulate an xbox pad with it for it even be seen by the game!

That unfortunatly didn't help. Enabling Playystation Controller Support just emulates an Xbox controller. That is not the advertised DualSense support that the game has

Same, couldn't get the game to detect it, had to enable steam input to play .. with xbox layout...
