Swimming key bindings??
So I'm on Zeffo and found the area by the crash site where you are required to swim and right next to the round engine ring in the center there is something under the water. So I looked in my settings and it says the LMB is for swimming downward and the RMB is for swimming upward. Well these 2 buttons do nothing while swimming... even in deeper water inside the caves.

What gives? Has anyone else experienced this?

As I write this, I just thought that I may have to re-bind those actions to different keys! I will try... In the meantime, please leave any suggestions or solutions to this issue if there are any!

Cheers!

you can't swim underwater till you get a particular device found on Kashyyyk. You literally can't miss it, as it's required to advance the story.

You had to continue to advance in the story until you get the ability to dive underwater. I can tell you where/when you get it but I don't want to spoil too much.

So I just went back to the imperial crash site and rebound the 2 keys to ones that are not being used...

Again, they do nothing!!

I am baffled as to why keys for swimming are not functioning. The item under the water is a cargo crate. It has a white dot that should indicate an E with Interact but there is nothing I can do to make it activate.

How stupid is that???:steamfacepalm::steamsalty:

As stated before, you can not swim underwater until you advanced the story enough to get the device to allow swimming underwater.

You can always backtrack to any planet, even after finishing the game and continuing the finished save, with exception of Nur and Bracca.

Don't get frustrated if you find you cannot access an area. The game does a decent amount of backtracking giving you plenty of opportunities to get everything. You have to learn new abilities or get new items to be able to get to every place on every map.

Thank you @Material Defender and @Nickels for the answer!:steamthumbsup:

I probably should have known better that it would be something I need to unlock.

Maybe I'm being a little petty but, I would think swimming under water is something you can do without having to learn it. I mean, I can throw a lightsaber and do wall-runs, but I am not advanced enough to swim under water! LOL

Don't mind me, my pride is a little bruised! :steammocking:
