Bypass EAPlay? Or at least an offline mode?

EAPlay is offline, but still try to blame with their horribly uninformative error message. Is there ANYWAY AT ALL to launch this game while the EA side is down? Or is this game entirely useless if their app is being buggy?

Why are companies like this? At least with Steam I can start in offline mode whenever I want and still access what I OWN. At this point I honestly think this is a violation and am going to send a message to the ACCC anyway. But I wanted to play for Star Wars Day.

So, again. Anyway to bypass EA and play this game?

I paid extra for this game just to have it on Steam, to avoid the EA's crappy platform. What was the point? This is not a multiplayer game, so why I cannot set it work offline?

Could be that servers are overloaded because of 4th.
Still ♥♥♥♥ idea that one needs to connect to EA App to play the game.

I will never again buy a game that is locked to EA's garbage platform because this is total ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. I had the day off and I can't play the SINGLE PLAYER GAME I PAYED FOR because of their crap system.

That's the worst part about it, even when it's a single player game, you cant play it offline. It's the only free day for me and i cant even enjoy my newly added mods. ♥♥♥♥ EA bro.

You can play the game without the EA App. Go into your Manage, then Properties and click Local Files and then Browse at the top of the small window. From there, double click SwGame, Binaries and Win64. In there you will find a Core folder and 2 .exe files. If you double click the SwGame-Win64-Shipping.exe it will start the game without the EA App.

I have no idea if it will store your progress in the cloud or the EA App after you return to that, but at least you will be playing!

Steam doesn't recognize that you are playing the game when you do this, and since you aren't connected to either platform there is a good possibility that any gameplay will effectively get erased when you connect again.
