Why isn't this game on sale?

With the second one just released and the May The 4th Be With You sale on, it's pretty weird that the game isn't on sale, does anyone know why? And do you think it will be soon?

If this site is accurare, the game has not been on sale since 2021. Not exactly sure I believe that though.

Ok never mind. That site is NOT accurate. Searched for a known on sale title right now, Subnautica and its showing as not on sale on that site. Ah well. Apologies. Was trying to see when the game was last on sale as I know that Steam has a cool down period where a seller cant put it on sale again too quickly.

Ok found it. Last discount was Mar 16 to Mar 30. No reason they could have not put on sale again this month.

this and this alone...And very scummy IMO...Selling the game at 4.99 like they just did will better line people up for the buying...NO REASON EXCEPT AS STATED ABOVE...Over calculation and blatant greed and both will fail in sales.I already own it on Origin and am still repulsed by this.

simple reason is to make the 70$ for main game look less ridicilous. theyre masters in marketing but hopefully theyll get punished heavily for this in the future.

Has nothing to do with that. They just want more money. I doubt they care than $70 looks ridiculous. Also they won't be punished nor do they deserve to be, it's up to the consumer to not buy overpriced things, it's how capitalism works.

Most will and those are tons of lost sales considering the SW sale is on...People were looking for it right now but not like that.
