Suspisciously cheap game, anything I should know?
It's 5$ right now, why is it so cheap?

I cant say this is a fun game. Pretty much Tomb Raider with lightsabers, the UI is a total mess to navigate, the holomap bugs if you open it too close to doors/walls. The game doesn't give you a damn clue on what to do next. Disguised Linear design as "open world" where you can visit the planet again. But it is totally linear. You land, explore, do some parkour around (if you can because of how crappy it is) main objective WALK ALL THE WAY BACK to the Mantis ship. Is the over complexity that made this one of the most boring games I've ever played not to say UE4 is a MESS to optimize stutters all the time looks blurry too. The combat and NPCs are lame. Oh and OMG the SAVING SYSTEM IS THE WORST! You can only save in meditation spots or if you are lucky the game thorws you an auto save which rarely happens. Sorry for those who dont agree with me but I must say it.

TLDR Not enough jedi experience but more like a spider full puzzle solver game with a lightsaber

I picked it up because it was cheap, heres my experience with the game so far.

Cool story about a jedi after order 66, but with many puzzles and not enough combat.

No way points, no map indicators, no fast travel, but, incredibly big maps.

Oh and I can't stress this enough, I wish someone would have warned me do not buy this game if you do not like spiders, they are the primary enemy most of the times, except when theres a boss battle.

And in the case you don't mind the spiders, I can promise you will dislike them by the sheer amount.

5 dollars is worth it for the story, its probably the coolest thing star wars has done in several years

It's probably cheap because it's a few years old and the sequel is right around the corner, so they want to get more interest generated for the sequel. It's a fun game!

Possibly to hook people up for the next month sequel. Also this is a relatively old game, they'd take any bucks since normally people won't buy this anymore.

Fair points, but I dug around and noticed some of their older games too don't have such low price. That is why I'm wondering why this specifically somewhat old game got a discount, but others didn't.

I haven't played any of star wars game, neither have I watched it. Is it still going to be fun? Just to run around, fight, explore and such? I don't know the story.

Might have something to do with sales & business. If I had to guess, currently, this game's conversion rate is practically zero so any income is actually more profitable. While some of their games might lose profit if they had big sale.

The story seems to make the deal worth it, and the combos Cal makes when he kills an enemy are cool too, but I would recommend you watch at least some star wars media before playing it.

Pick it up, at the end of the day 5$ is something you can get back and probably the lowest this game is ever going to be, but before playing it watch some star wars media.
Worth the $5. Has a great story and decent combat. If you are familiar with any FromSoftware games then play on Jedi Master or Grand Master difficulty.

Guessing it's cheaper as a marketing tactic to get fans excited for the sequel that's releasing next month.

spring sale its not Suspicious but if you have ea play its included but ea pass when i ended the subscription seemed to remove all my achievements so having a ea title you own seems better .

its a fun game, not too long, & 5 dollars is a good price. its a pain to 100% the achievements (if you're into that.) i ran into no problems (non-starts, or slow downs) that the reviews spoke about. i say if you're on the fence about it, buy it. 5 dollars for 20+ hrs of entertainment is a easy win.

Something related to the order 66 and how it was carried out, probably the 3rd movie, if you get bored then a quick recap in youtube will do, just for you to know what happened.

I'm too lazy for movies.

Some games just have good sales. Only thing you need to know is it needs EA app + EA account
