Help！Can't start the game.

i bought this game in Steam at this morning.But i can't start the game.I press the start button,nothing happened. I already have EA platform.Is there anyone have the same problem?

If you go your game folder,

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Jedi Fallen Order\SwGame\Binaries\Win64

you wil find a second executable "SwGame-Win64-Shipping"

It will start the game. Though in my case without voice audio which sucks.

All that exe is supposed to do is launch the game DRM free.

What you have is not related to the game. That is on your side of things.

no voice, steam achievement, time play, stupid ea app ill refund this crap.

Why do you think DRM free would give steam achievements?

The same in Korea. I THINK IT'S A PROBLEM THAT APPEARS AS A USER AUTHENTICATION ISSUE WHEN AN EXISTING EAPLAY SUBSCRIBER PLAYS THE SAME GAME AND MAKES A PURCHASE AFTER THE SUBSCRIPTION EXPIRES. When I checked, I didn't have any problems with the games I bought on EAAPP. In the end, it seems to be a problem caused by a user problem with EAPP in Steam integration, but EA does not give any answer. i refunded steam version.

Same here, and first start through the EA-app. Seems to work fine after that. Havent touched a EA-game a very long time so it had to unistall origin for that new thing and only after the computer-restart I got login-request along with user agreements & such.

in my friend's case, he can't even get the EA app to work. He had origin installed but it wouldn't update, uninstalled that tried again wouldn't install, tried vc++ redist repair (if it was doing anything it didn't show it on the screen, Went through every drive deleting everything we could find with EA attached to it even in the hidden folders appdata ect, same error. Ran a registry cleaner, same error. Killed all unnecessary programs/same error. Of course tried the admin run/restart/normal stuff.
At least the DRM free version works without the app, but he's got other games that require origin/ea app. Dunno if they're gonna work.
I think (in his case) he had to reinstall windows about a year ago, and he has some old windows ghosts hidden on his drives. It's frustrating and nearly impossible to find those types of things.
I'm his computer geek backup support friend and I don't know where else to go for that. Tempted to try installing it in safe mode (haven't used that since windows 7 lol). Is that still a thing?
