I get this Error Popup when I try to Launch the Game from Steam after Downloading it. It says,

"Failed to start process for STAR WARS: Jedi Fallen Order.
The Operation was cancelled by the User (0x4c7)"

I'm using a Dell G15 5515 Ryzen 5 5600H Laptop with 16 GB of RAM and it has DIrectX 12 and sufficient hardware space. I downloaded Steam in D Drive as I try to keep my Primary Drive Clean.

Here are some of the things I have tried till now:-
  • Re downloading and Reinstalling both Steam and the Game
  • Turning off both Firewall and Antivirus.
  • Verifying the Local Files after going into Game Properties
  • Clearing the Download Cache

None of this worked for me. Does anyone know a fix for this??

I found the problem. You need Origin installed. Idk why it wasnt prompting me to install it but here's the download link. https://origin.onl/download/

I ended up getting the Refund lol. Reviews of the Game in the Discussions weren't good as well. Were you able to launch the game though?

I had this problem too after a while. I think it's because I disabled the automatic Windows startup execution of a program named "EA".

No, you do NOT need the EA client settings for 'Starting with Windows' enabled. You simply need to start the EA client prior to launching the game. It's supposed to launch it automatically for you but, ever since this new EA client replaced Origin client, it's been kind of a nightmare for lots of people. Personally, I'm still using Origin client and will until I can no longer program it to keep working for me.
