Does anyone else think the meditation spots are placed strangely?
I've played dark souls and bonfires are usually parallel to enemy choke points, but this game seems to put meditation circles after checkpoints. Forcing you to run a whole level again just to get to the mini-boss.

Nope. It's not Dark Souls.

THis simply isnt even true though. There are meditation points every where, maybe you just didnt find them.

Give me more than one specific example of this. Actually give me one, two if youre feeling coy.

the meditation points can be annoyingle sparse but get some extra stims and you'll be fine.found enough of them with some guide and i had 8 in the end of the game.

The worst I've seen is a spot right next to two critters (gun & mace). If you try to focus one, there is a chance to activate the meditation spot instead. Genius level design, truly.

I've noticed (Even more now since i found there were some in side paths that i missed) That there are actually So many meditation spots that i feel it's in excess. For bosses there's always been one relatively close, at least closer than dark souls tends to put them thats for sure.

But throughout the game sometimes i go about less than 5 minutes before running into the next meditation spot. It feels a bit much personally.

I have no qualms about them. It helps me save if I need to stop playing and don't want to backtrack. No need to use rest.
