REMOVE DENUVO MALWARE

This game has Steam DRM, Origin DRM and DENUVO ANTI TAMPER S*HIT.

Why the hell am I supposed to get through all this and try to play?

Please REMOVE THE USELESS ( it is now thx cdx ) anti-tamper sht so we can buy the game since the so called piracy protecter served its purpose.

Hmm last time i checked Denuvo is still in, need for speed payback, Burnout paradise remaster, battlefield 1, battlefield 5, unravel 1, unravel 2, mirrors edge catalyst, so no they haven't removed it from all there aging games, they really save me money atm, maybe with origin games coming to steam they might release them without it but i wont hold my breath

Denuvo, will always fail at what it is supposed to do...

The only thing it hasn't failed at is causing harm to legitimate consumers, and causing lost sales.

We need the developers to drop Denuvo already, I am sure there would be plenty of happy people who may actually buy the game, or renew their origin membership, which I had at one point while playing Battlefield 1 but cancelled because of the performance stutters I was getting );.

Also Origin is fine, but Denuvo is the real cause of all the performance issues people have, "Steam" just needs to adopt a policy that bans all 3rd party DRM company's, and forces a company to use their own DRM which must not cause performance impacts, or use Virtual Machine Code.

That's something because the same guy did a 7 game benchmark test on games with and without Denuvo and said the opposite XD

I know and I see where you are coming from, but if a developer or publisher reads comments on a forum saying "Eh. I'll just pirate a copy and beat it, if I like it, I'll buy it, if not then I won't", is it really wrong for a developer/publisher to return the same trust and tack on Denuvo to prevent people from scamming them?

If I had to guess, the biggest amount of sales were from consoles which received large price cuts and a complete edition physical casing. Although, the console versions all have the background DRM from Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo. Which is the norm.


If not that, people recognized that CDPR made dlc's worthy of $60 but at fraction of the price.

I wonder if Cyberpunk 2077 will really be DRM free on pc and consoles.

ya but they get or money and we get a half cut up paper weight and spend 60$ "plus DLC" on it the truth of the matter is they lose nothing and we loose money

I agree, that this years nominees are disappointing but next year will be great and with next gen consoles launching by next years end, I think 2021 will be a great year for gaming as well.
