REMOVE DENUVO MALWARE
This game has Steam DRM, Origin DRM and DENUVO ANTI TAMPER S*HIT.

Why the hell am I supposed to get through all this and try to play?

Please REMOVE THE USELESS ( it is now thx cdx ) anti-tamper sht so we can buy the game since the so called piracy protecter served its purpose.

Here's why no one likes Denuvo. It's not about pirating, it's not pirates being salty that their game can't get cracked. It's the thought that game developers and publishers will incorporate a DRM that has negative performance loss on the game when you're trying to play it. Doom (2016) is a great example and there is many different videos and claims that support this. Also Denuvo on average only keeps the games protected for up to 60 days max, sometimes a little more and sometimes a little less, Jedi Fallen order took 3 days while BL3 took 54! In general they only use Denuvo for the launch of games, so that it will deter players from pirating however it has a negative impact on those who wish to buy the game and get bad performance from it.

Also simply cracking a game doesn't mean Denuvo is gone, yes it can be removed by the groups that crack the games but that's another set of issues to accomplish.

denuvo is not removed by cracking it, it merely circumvents the hardware checks. you won't gain a frame by using a cracked version contrary to what the pirates would like to believe.

No.

If people are complaining then it's doing its job.

I have 17x times more games bought in my library. It is not about piracy. I won't be buying any games with Denuvo. If there were more people like me they would have been gone by now.

EA is not a company that would bother with something like player convenience if it meant they could make just one more sale. So pirates will just get a better version of the game.

Denuvo is causing the d3d device lost error crash to desktop in this game I strongly believe.

Never had that crash.

Hmmm...

It's a money making machine which doesn't help in anything. People who want to pirate, they crack the game before release. So yeah, wouldn't mind if it's gone anyways. Not that it matter to me, but I understand people's complains.

BTW, the game has apparently (already! 😅) had said "malware" removed via "unofficial" means...

SW:FO's DRM
• Denuvo anti-tamper
• E.A. activation
• Steam launcher
• Origin launcher

DRM's efficacy
• <4 days / 96 hours

DRM's affect on development
• Moderate; $100,000 (*anecdotal estimate)

DRM's affect on retail price point of product
• Undisclosed

DRM's affect on software performance
• Insignificant to moderate (*hardware configuration dependent)

"Pirates" stymied by DRM
• Zero

Non-paying players goaded into product purchase
• Zero to negligible

Paying customers affected by DRM
• All

😑

In virtually every case, Denuvo has a negative impact on performance in one regard or another. Level load times are significantly longer. Frame rates are lower. In one case, the maximum frame time is more than 2.3x higher. A 58ms frame is already an incredibly low dip, but a 137ms frame time is simply absurd.

Even when cracked it doesn't remove it. It just bypasses the hardware checks it does. So maybe learn about it before trying to act like a know it all.

Yeah... But, not unlike arguing with casuals about gameplay (in a video game) being of import, nay "muh grapfyks" or the ensuing "DLC" racketeering, the vast majority (again, casuals) won't even notice such technical intricacies.

It is in fact why they have correctly gambled on getting away with injecting veritable malware into the products of paying customers -- i.e., "the goyim are too stupid to care". Indeed, just as with loot boxes, the target demographic/s are not those who think rationally and by using the logic processes of their brain; but, the mindless lemming masses who lurch lock-step behind their pied pipers towards the precipice ¯\_(v_v)_/¯
