single or double bladed lightsaber?
I noticed the double bladed does less damage than the single bladed. Not sure what to use tbh.

Single blade has superior damage and is superior 1vs1. In situations where you face big groups, the double bladed shines because of it's wider attacks so it hits everyone. Also easier to deflect multiple blasters.

Single target = single bladed
Multiple targets/groups = double bladed

I used the DB for large crowds of blaster fire. Single for dueling and stronger enemies and most melee, using the style switch combo to trade in and out as needed.

I've just been sticking with single blade

the double bladed becomes a little more powerful late on because of an ability you get with it. or them. trying to avoid story spoilers.

ok thanks. Seeing as you cannot switch on the fly, i may just stick with single until i get that ability ;)

You can switch in combat, it just might not be fluid.

There is an ability later in the game that allows you to transition between single and staff while attacking.

I just don't get used to double light saber. It just doesn't do it for me.

I only use it for crowds of little things (I hate skaffs SO MUCH) and blaster deflection. Single bladed works fine for blasters if you're not looking to reflect, but there's something satisfying about feeding back every single blaster bolt from a minigun.

if you use double blade it's easier to stun-lock pretty much everything except stormtroopers and the bigger animals, though i just use force pull and then stormtroopers are a joke
