Do anyone also feel the character is sluggish?
like every time you turn direction you have to press sprint button again just to run very slightly faster and it feels like you are using someone who are handicap to do Jedi roleplay.
Though the lightsaber combat is good but the movement is too far from satisfying...

He is meant to be because he lost his powers as a Jedi and you must learn them again.

Nah. The game should register when you keep the stick pressed and the character should keep on running. Why do I have to press the stick down again after jumping a platform? If I keep it down the character should automatically start running as soon as its rolling/climbing animation is over.

And why am I not running full speed while having an enemy locked? So many decisions are mind boggling in this game.

That's.. not true. That's a very weird assumption. That has nothing to do with the animations lol. Your guy runs like he just took a dump in his pants.

I loved the game but he does walk weird and move weird.

If you get thrown on your butt, pull the stick down (S key if using keyboard) and then evade, and you will do a backwards roll and get up on your feet quicker.

I kind of agree. It's a bit of a trend lately to make characters feel more weighty when they move. I call it 'The GTA', since GTA4 back in 2008 was the first game where I found the character felt so slow moving around. I also find that motion blur, the mouse movement smoothing the game has, and the slow performance all add up to make the gameplay feel even more stiff.

Also agreeing with Dregora, the animations are jank as hell, and I'm surprised not a lot of people commented on that when the E3 trailer dropped.

Yes, that's one of the issues I had forgotten about when listing them in another thread. Cal for some odd unknown reason just decides he's not running anymore, and you have to remind him constantly to keep his butt moving. It's a weird, out-of-the-norm function to have to keep reminding him to run.

I'm not saying he should just run all the time. I'm saying that he should run until I tell him to stop running. If he gets this simple thing wrong, how is he EVER going to relearn the Force! :-D

I do remember seeing that tooltip come up, but had forgotten it. Thanks for the reminder! Going to start trying that, since my Cal likes to take a lot of dirtnaps! :-O
