the evasive kick manuever wont trigger.
am i doing something wrong i find an enemy and get near them to do the kick and cal just slashes them. yes i am pressing the right buttons too.

you need to be still when you tap the buttons. If he's moving back or forward he'll do a slash instead.

That's what I found as well. After an evade, I have to release any keys, then attack, and he kicks the enemies correctly then.

the skill is useless on higher difficulty. It doesn't proc often or interrupts. Better off dodging since enemies does so much dmg. But if ur playing on lower settings I guess its ok to pick it

nah im on jedi knight,. wish i woulda known that before i spent a skill point onit lol.

I'm afraid to get the LightSaber Mastery because you have to grab this Evasive Kick skill first and I don't think I want it. Sounds like it's more trouble than it's worth and might get in the way. Sucks cause I miss out on whatever bonus you get with the mastery skill...

Hi, yea, no. The skill is useless when you can just slash the enemy because that's what you're gonna do anyways when you kick them. The recovery rate for the enemy is the same for slashing and kicking so it's pointless.

They always have to lock the good skills behind the sad skills, otherwise people would never select them. I always just consider the higher skill's cost to be the sum of it and the skill before it.
