It is basically lightsaber porn for people REALLY into Star Wars. The game does focus on the lightsaber in several cutscenes to show off your changes, but that's about it.

Well, all lightsaber are the same strength, so it would not make sense to put stats on it.

I get it but ever since the first Knights Of The Old Republic game I've craved having more freedom over the way my lightsaber looks. It's a solid mechanic and I'm very happy to see it.

yep just looks. there are 2 big "mods" to it that you will come across in your game though.
