Really dark in caves, normal?

It's mostly pitch black, like no global illumination or bounce light, not even baked in. I can hardly see where I'm going. Droid light is very weak too. Is this normal?

Yes its normal and they tell you to hold block button to use lightsaber as a light.

The game should have told you that can / are supposed to use your lightsaber to illuminate those areas. You do this by holding the Guard-Button. By default this should be LB on a XBox-Controller

You can use your light saber as a light. Hold left button if using Xbox controller.

Oh ok, guess I'm no proper Jedi yet :D

But the darkness is 100% dark thing is a bit lame. Haven't seen this in a while, usually there's some bounce light baked in or at least a bit of ambient light.

You need to use your lightsaber to light your way. If that doesn't work, try increasing your brightness from settings.

Yeah it also happens outside. If you look at some shadows they are completely black. This doesn't happen in the real world, games in the past 10 years at least have usually avoided this.
