HELP - Stuck in the Imperial Dig Site on Zeffo

I wandered back to the arena where you fight the Second Sister and the droid saves you by putting up the red shield. Now, I can't leave that area (because the red shield wall is still up). There's a swing rope and an air vent near the top of the elevator to the Second Sister arena, but this doesn't go anywhere.

I can't backtrack because there's a one-way drop as you head in.

Do I need to start a new game from scratch?

There is no other way. There's a one-way drop from the way I came in (the crash site). There's an elevator which "cannot be activated from this side" which is not much help. There's a swing rope and an upwards pushing air vent but this doesn't go anywhere

Maybe I am, but the area is inescapable, if you go back in there after defeating the Second Sister you're trapped, end of game.

I went back there and was able to get out, I just went back the other way. its not easy to explain other than "the other way" because its not like it's hidden or something, its just.... the other way xD

Just take a moment and think "Would the devs put a situation in the game where a person could get permanently stuck and have to restart their game?"

If that question seems absurd, then you probably, and most assuredly have a way to progress.

Hey I had the same problem after running back and forth a thousand times i finally managed to get out. To be honest i do not think the devs thought this through because you are actually stuck.

The way I got out is by using the swing with the airvent. From the location you dropped down move all the way to the back, so even past the elevator that gets you to the second sister fight area. There will be a meditation area so you know you are in the correct spot. If you look around you at that point you will see 2 swings. One on the left the other on the right. The right one takes you to walls you can run on but they do not lead anywhere.

So you need the left one. This will maybe take a couple of tries, but get on the swing and go back and forth a couple of times until you have enough momentum to jump above the airvent. This will blow you up where you can grab the zipline and go out of that area.

You will need to have 2 things for this to work tho, 1 force pull or you cannot get on the swing. 2 reverse zipline or you cannot go up a zipline. Hope this works for you!

Got the same issue. Quick solving :
Forget the red barrier, go back to up you can't go up anymore.
Twitch the left zipline so that it goes up instead of down.
Jump ontop the zipline control center so that you can get higher and then get to the zipline from there.
