Weird Clothing Physics Problem
For some reason any clothes in the game act like its constantly in a wind tunnel from one direction. Anyone else having this issue or know how to solve it?

That's what you get when you buy fake leather.

Yea, wait for Respawn to either fix it. Or don't. It's because you're in hyperspace travelling, and therefore seen as "moving" by the engine.

well, standing in a closed room on a planet also has this effect so it can't (only) be what you are suggesting?

For the first time in my life I'm going to ask if your drivers are up to date. But more specifically the PhysX stuff (if you have a Nvidia card. Not sure what AMD uses). No idea if using older versions could even cause something like this but it can't hurt to check.

Or try validating your game install

(I realise these are the most basic support solutions that almost never work but I've had a similar issue before that was solved by one of these; I just can't remember which one :) )

Okay, so what I did was I uninstalled my old PhysX drivers (I just used the application uninstallation function in Windows), and reinstalled them. Despite the fact that they were the exact same version number, this fixed things for me, and cloth physics now behave much more realistically. Hope this helps!

Updating PhysX drivers (via a clean install of new Nvidia drivers) fixed it for me. Several games over the years have suffered from this issue.

Can confirm the fix @Serpentfear works, at least for me. Just opened Control Panel > Programs > Programs and features, then scrolled down to "NVIDIA PhysX System Software" and uninstalled it. Then, I went to NVIDIA's website to redownload PhysX.

I can also confirm that this is the correct solution. Followed the directions and the clothing physics work perfectly.
