Cannot change resolution

I can click it-- it doesn't change. it has me locked at some B.S 720p resolution when I have a RTX 2080 TI. Have restarted game several times. Cannot change it.

I know most people loath it, but have you tried changing the resolution in the geforce experience app? Just an idea for a workaround. Ive never done it, but I bet you can also change the resolution in your nvidia control panel, go into the game settings on there. A third way would be to find the ini. file in the game folder and change it manually in there.

Changing in geforce experience actually worked for me. Was playing in 4k high settings with around 50 fps on a RTX 2060, and geforce experience changed to 2,5k on epic settings

I bloody had to change it, and on black screen alt-tab out and back into the game to make it stick...

After you change it, are you holding down A or whatever key it may be if using keyboard?

This^^ (the res doesn't "stick" until you manually select it and the button hilights. It's a weird way of doing it, but that's what we're stuck with.)

Does the game even run on ultra wide screen 3440x1440? Wondering if you have to settle for the black bars on the side.

You can change the resolution when using the full screen option in game.

I know I’m necroing, but if anyone in the future is having this issue. This post here is the answer. Game auto put me in windowed and 720p. Gotta switch to full screen only.
